Will work on formulating a policy to bring justice to people like Lavpreet says Manisha Gulati

The chairperson Punjab State women Commission Mrs Manisha Gulati today met the mother and sisters of 23 year old deceased Lavpreet from village Kothe Gobindpura in Dhanaula and condoled the death of youngster.
Speaking to Lavpreet’s mother Rupinder Kaur and father Balwinder Singh, the chairperson Women Commission said that it was very unfortunate for a young life to be lost in this way. She assured to take up the matter of formulating a policy for such cases at state and Central level.
” I will take this issue to the level of Chief Minister Punjab and the central government so that vulnerable youth like Lavpreet do not end up losing their precious lives,” she said.
She also asked about the well being of Lavpreet’s sisters and had a word with them.
The Chairperson said that high rank police officials were conducting a detailed enquiry into the matter and the guilty shall not be spared in this case. She added that she was also in touch with the Canadian police over Lavpreet’s case and said that all aspects of case were being investigated.
Mrs Gulati also met the people from different family who have suffered similar problems and assured them of finding a solution to the problems solved.
